Oz Comic Con

Yesterday, my friend and I had a blast at Oz Comic Con
Both of us had been to conventions before but Oz Comic Con truly impressed us with their organization. There was plenty of space, it didn't feel packed so you could move between stalls pretty easily, they had an incredible app (!!!), and lines for panels weren't crazy long!

Seriously though, that app! All of the information you wanted was at your finger tips. You didn't have to go searching through the paper guide to try to find what you were looking for. It was organized under multiple sections so you could find what you wanted quickly and easily. Also, you could organize your own schedule before the event. Friday, I went through and put in all of the panels we wanted to see and set in app alerts for when we wanted to line up. I was so impressed! It is the most informed I have felt before a con and it was all so easy! I was never expecting that when I downloaded the app.

Aside from the fabulous app, we also thoroughly enjoyed the con. The stalls were really interesting, the panels were fun, and there were lots of things to see and get excited about. Lots of people had amazing costumes! We got to talk to some local artists about their work and buy some of their stuff. I got a Princess Bubblegum mug and Card Wars, it was great!

I went dressed as Sailor Jupiter and had a fabulous moment where after walking past the Sailor Moon signing section and being told they were about to head to lunch the lovely Linda Ballantyne, who voiced Sailor Moon in Sailor Moon S, ran over to me and gave me a hug exclaiming, "Jupiter!" and told me she didn't want me to miss out so she brought the other two voice actors that were there, Katie Griffin (Sailor Mars) and Toby Proctor (Tuxedo Mask), to say hello. It was very kind of her and meant a lot that she took the time to do that.

I so recommend going it when it comes around again. It was crazy fun!

*All opinions are my own. Comic Con has not asked me to say any of this. I just really enjoyed myself and really liked the app!
